Brian Montgomery
Instrument Lessons Online has gone through several changes through the years. The main teacher, Brian Montgomery, began teaching drum lessons and piano lessons in music stores throughout Connecticut and Massachusetts beginning in the 1980’s and continuing through the present day. As a music student in college, Brian learned to play all the instruments included in the band and orchestra. Brian has had experience teaching choirs of all ages from a chamber choir of first graders to the drama club singers who performed in musicals at Bentley University in Waltham Massachusetts where Brian served as the music director for five years. Brian has experience teaching band and orchestra in all levels of school aged children. Mr. Montgomery has been teaching in public schools since 2003 and has been teaching online since 2015.

PRACTICING EXPECTATIONS AND INCENTIVES
We strongly recommend the student has a suitable instrument they can practice on. The teacher will discuss the goals and expectations for each student. The teacher will provide practicing suggestions to the students and parents. There are no progress guarantees made for the students. Most students will make great progress as long as the student follows the instructions of the teacher.
